Elisabete Pinto da Costa is an Assistant Professor at the Lusófona University of Porto. She holds a degree and Master in International Relations and European Studies and has a PhD in Education. She is Director of the Mediation Institute of the ULP and a member of the European Consortium “Organizing European Social Mediation: for the training of social mediators” (CreA.MEM – 2021-1-FR01-KA210-VET-000034526). She is member of the Higher Education Network for Intercultural Mediation and  researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development. Her research develops around mediation issues (namely, school mediation and intercultural mediation), citizenship, migration and peace studies.
