Evalina Gomes Dias, Portuguese of African origin with roots in Guinea-Bissau, has a degree in Human Resources Management (ISCSP) and a Master in Development Studies (ISCTE).  She is an activist for Human Rights, Migrants, Refugees and asylum seekers. She is co-founder and current president of Djass – Association of Afrodescendants, created in 2016, an anti-racist association that fights for the rights of blacks, Africans and Afro-descendants in Portugal iintervening at the political, educational and cultural level. The association is also responsible for the future implementation of the only Memorial to Enslaved People in Portugal. Evalina frequently collaborates with non-governmental organizations, on a voluntary basis.
