With the aim of making one of the most popular arts in Portugal known, these workshops are intended to give participants a practical experience of tile painting while contextualizing them on the origins and history of the tile in Portugal.
Tile Painting and Modelling Workshop (2 sessions) | First session: 21 April 10h – 12h / Second session: 22 April 16h -17.30h
- A brief presentation on the history of the tile in Portugal.
- Introduction to tile painting with the demonstration of different techniques, the colours, and their transformations.
- Tile painting by the participants.
- Tile modelling (textures, volumes…)
